The Odessa National Medical University is a government university in the city of Odessa, Ukraine.

In 1900 there was created Medical Faculty in Odessa Novorossiyskiy State University. The medical faculty was succeeded to be one of the most prestigious medical faculties in Russian Empire due to work of many famouse scientists of medicine. However fast and prosperous start was interrupted by economic problems in Russia. However medical faculty survived and in 1922 it was reformed into independent Odessa State Medical University.

Today Odessa State Medical University is one of the leading medical universities in Ukraine. It is a member of International Association of Medical Universities and offers European educational standards. The University consists of 58 faculties, which educate 6000 students from different countries. Medicine is studied in Russian, Ukrainian and English languages.

The university is fully completed with modern technics and use the latest technologies. The university has its own clinics: versatile clinic and dentist clinic. Today active researches in fields of fabric therapy, genetic medicine; endoscopy, laparoscopy, transplantology are made.

The university issues 4 scientist magazines, licensed by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Odessa State Medical University also issues text books in Russian and English languages.
